Once your application has been reviewed, your personal English Apple
representative will contact you.

You will have a telephone interview with the executive director (or
in person when possible) depending on where you live. Phone calls
are always pre-arranged by e-mail, so there are no surprise calls
from us. This is not an official job interview, but rather an assessment
of the applicant's suitability for being placed in one of our schools.
The applicant's attitude and behavior are carefully assessed, as well
as how likely they will be able to adapt to new cultural environment.

After the interview, we will send a confirmation e-mail, asking you
to confirm that you want to teach in Korea. With your confirmation
reply, we begin searching for a school that meets your preferences;
such as location, pay, grade level, right timeline and so on.

When a school or institute decides to hire you, we offer you a contract.
We verify the working and living conditions including all the benefits
that you deserve. When we are satisfied and you accept the position,
we send the contract to you.

We require the following official documents to obtain an E-2 visa
(work permit) from Korea Immigration Department:
All contracts are for one year only, and usually begin the day after
the applicant arrives in Korea.
When the employer receives your documents, they are submitted to Korean
immigration to obtain a Visa Issuance Number. The visa processing time varies from five to ten days, depending
on the immigration office.
When the teacher's visa has been approved, Korean Immigration issues
a Visa Issuance Number, which we'll send you by e-mail. Once you
receive it, you need to take or send this number to a Korean Consulate
or Embassy, along with the following documents:
1. Visa Issuance Number
or letter
2. Actual Passport
3. A completed, signed Visa Application
Form
4. 2 recent passport-sized color
photos and the visa application fee ($45 USD)
